have been busy so haven’t been updating this.. used the image below for their photo of the day on april 19, 2009.

This little begging porcupine is featured on NewWest.net this weekend:

It was at Alta Resort in Little Cottonwood Canyon, begging along one of their beginner runs.  Alta, or course, had nothing to do with propagating this, but porcupines can be such effective beggars some times!  Here is another photo of it, after being denied food!

I’m glad I had my camera with me, even if the camera bag is bulky and a little hard to use with gloves!

From a recent email exchange, probably back in September… so close, yet so far:

“First the good news - your moose photo made it into the final round (not sure what the total entries were, but usually its close to a 100).

Now the bad news, apparently, we only feature MT photographers, so, unless your moving up here, this is where the story ends. Sorry, I had no idea that was a requirement.”

Taken in October while exploring Yellowstone:
